Privacy policy
This policy explains how Gun Room handles information in the iPhone app and on gunroom.app.

Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, account identifier, and basic profile information provided when you sign in.
- Collection records. Firearm details, ammunition details and quantities, round counts, maintenance counters, and session dates, locations, and notes that you enter.
- Service information. Our hosting and authentication providers process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, device or browser information, and delivery or security logs to operate and protect the service.
- Support messages. Information you include when you contact us.
Session locations are entered by you. The current app does not need access to your device location, contacts, camera, or microphone.
Apple and Google sign-in
If you choose Apple or Google, we use the account identifier, email address, and basic profile details that the provider supplies to create or authenticate your account. Apple may provide a private relay email address. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
Google access is limited to sign-in and basic identity information. Gun Room does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, calendars, or contacts. We use Google account data only to provide account access and related support. We do not use it for advertising.
You can review and revoke Google access in your Google Account settings. Revoking provider access does not itself delete records stored in Gun Room. Contact us to request deletion.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, store and display your collection, update stock and round counts, send requested sign-in codes, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse. Your inventory is not a public profile.
Service providers and disclosures
Supabase provides account authentication and database hosting. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Vercel hosts this website. Apple and Google handle sign-in when you choose those options. These providers process information needed to deliver their services.
We do not sell your personal information or share your collection for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or others from abuse or harm.
Storage and security
Account and collection data are stored in our Supabase project in the United States. Access rules restrict collection records to the account that owns them. The app stores its session in the iOS Keychain and uses HTTPS for communication. Authorized operators and service providers may access data to maintain the service or respond to requests. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Retention, access, and deletion
We retain account and collection records while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. To request access, correction, export, or deletion, email jerry@vantaomega.com from your account email. We may need to verify account ownership before acting.
Account deletion is currently handled through support. Limited records may remain where required for legal obligations, security, or backup retention. Deleting the app or signing out does not delete your account.
This website
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or a mailing-list form. The hosting provider processes technical request information to serve and protect the site. Email links open your email app; a message is sent only when you choose to send it.
Children
Gun Room is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
