Terms of use

Gun Room helps you keep personal collection and range-session records. These terms apply to the app, Gun Room Pro, and this website.

The service

Gun Room is operated by VantaOmega LLC. Contact jerry@vantaomega.com with questions. Features may change as the app improves.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Gun Room. The app does not require an account.

Your records

You retain ownership of the content you enter. Your records are stored on your device. Keep independent copies of records that are important to you; exported backups are not encrypted.

Gun Room Pro

Gun Room is free to download. The free version holds up to five firearms and five ammunition batches. Gun Room Pro removes those limits and unlocks additional features. It is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

Purchases are made through your Apple Account and are billed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone’s Settings under your Apple Account › Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription. A lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew. Pro purchases can be shared through Apple Family Sharing and restored on your devices with Restore Purchases.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. If Pro ends, your records stay readable and editable; only adding items beyond the free limits is blocked again.

Permitted use

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another person’s records, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or purchase verification, or upload content that violates another person’s rights.

Recordkeeping and responsibility

Gun Room is not a firearms or ammunition marketplace. It does not arrange purchases, sales, or transfers. Its records do not establish ownership, legal eligibility, or compliance with any law.

Round counts and maintenance thresholds are recordkeeping aids. They do not replace physical inspections, manufacturer instructions, professional service, or safe handling and storage practices. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of your records and for decisions about your equipment.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free records. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by use of the service. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Apple

These terms are between you and Gun Room, not Apple. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Where the two conflict, these terms control to the extent allowed by that agreement.

Ending use

You may stop using the service at any time. Deleting the app removes its records from that iPhone; it does not cancel a subscription. If you used an earlier version of Gun Room with a cloud account, contact jerry@vantaomega.com to request its deletion.

Privacy and changes

Our privacy policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted here. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
